OBJECT 03 / RITUAL
PORTAL.
For the last look before you leave.
THE RITUAL / GETTING READY
Before the door
closes behind you.
One last look before
you meet the world.
Before work. Before dinner. Before the door closes behind you. It is one of the last places you stop before presenting yourself to the world.
Most mirrors are treated like something used to fill an empty wall. PORTAL wasn’t. It was designed as part of the ritual of getting ready—an object you approach, use and leave through.
